What is Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM)?
What is MBKM? Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program is a program launched by the Minister of Education and Culture which aims to encourage students to master various sciences to prepare for entering the world of work.
MBKM program is the implementation of President Joko Widodo's vision and mission to create prime human resources. Planning for the concept of an independent campus basically only needs to change ministerial regulations. The concept of independent campus is planned to be implemented soon to achieve a better quality of learning.
In its application, through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program, students get the opportunity for 1 (one) semester (equivalent to 20 credits) to take learning outside the study program at the same university and a maximum of 2 semesters or the equivalent of 40 credits to take learning in the same study program in different universities, learning in different study programs in different universities: and / or learning outside the university.
What are the MBKM Programs?
The Ministry of Education and Culture's Merdeka Campus program that has been running is a three-semester study program outside the study program. This program aims to improve the competence of graduates, both soft skills and hard skills so that they are better prepared and relevant to the current needs and produce excellent graduates with great personalities.

Benefits of Joining the Kampus Merdeka program
Kampus Merdeka program provides many benefits, especially for students. Here are the reasons why students should join the program from Kampus Merdeka:
1. Practical in the field will be converted into credits.
2. Exploration of knowledge and abilities in the field for more than one semester.
3. Learning and networking outside the study program or home campus.
4. Gain knowledge directly from quality and reputable partners.
How to Register for the Kampus Merdeka Program?
To participate in the program from Kampus Merdeka, students must register and create an account first in the MBKM Kemendikbud application. Here the requirements:
- Make sure your personal data matches the data in PDDikti (pddikti.kemdikbud.go.id)
- On the main page of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka website, click \ “Login” button in the upper right corner.
- Complete personal data in accordance with the registration form that appears on the screen.
- Next, the Login page will appear as follows, click “Don’t Have an Account? Register” to proceed to the Registration page.
- After registering an account, please check the email that has been registered email.
- Click the “ACTIVATE ACCOUNT” button on the email. Next will appear Login page with the caption “Attention, Your account is active.
